Why I Love Being a Night Owl

By

“3 AM is the hour of writers, painters, poets, over-thinkers, silence seekers, and creative people. We know who you are, we can see your light on. Keep on keeping on.”

Night-time is a time where my mind begins to aimlessly wander. It’s so peaceful and quiet, the world is silent, and my mind is at ease. I write best at night. There’s less interruptions, less chaos, less noise. This is my time for creativity. This is the time for me to clean out my cluster of thoughts by putting them into words. My mind is clear, I am mindful of my surroundings, and I am acknowledging the peaceful atmosphere. I’m here in the now, the only place I want to be in. It’s a beautiful night tonight. I don’t want this night to ever end. 💙

Oh yes, this is me also. I’m at my best once my household goes to sleep. I thought it was just me! Also a great time to catch up on the writings of others (it’s 1:31 a.m.).
