Writing My Way Back to Myself
My journey starts with the one thing I know I’m good at: writing.
Writing is the only way I’ve ever been able to truly express myself—the only way I can make sense of everything happening inside my overactive brain.
Writing gives me clarity.
When my mind becomes cluttered, when my thoughts begin overlapping and I can no longer see through the noise, I write. I pour the thoughts out of my head and onto a page, one by one, until the clutter begins to clear.
It helps me see what’s really going on inside of me.
It helps me untangle the thoughts that leave me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and lost somewhere inside my own mind.
And then, slowly, something shifts.
The noise gets quieter.
The clutter clears.
And in the space that’s left behind, I find serenity.
I find myself.
My thoughts become clearer. My breathing feels a little lighter. And for a moment, I am no longer trying to figure out who I am beneath all the noise.
I am simply me.
My true self.
Maybe that’s where my journey begins—not with having everything figured out, but with putting the words somewhere outside of my head.
With writing.
With unraveling.
With becoming beautifully undone. 🌸
